A Welcoming Home

I posted a poem for Hannah’s homecoming on my poetry blog. I won’t reproduce the poem here. Suffice it to say, these are days of great celebration. It is a wonderful thing for Chris and I to experience the fullness of our family, complete. There is much joy and laughter within these walls. Hannah’s personality once again with us has brought such sunshine and delight. She has returned home much more mature and so very polite. And she cannot get enough of her little brother Josh. Josh isn’t quite yet certain who this new “mom-type” of character is–but he’s starting to recognize that she isn’t just another babysitter–that she is here to stay (at least for another year).

  1. How wonderful that the entire family is together again! I can’t imagine going for an entire year with a piece of the family puzzle missing- you are going to have a wonderful summer together! And Josh is going to love the extra attention!
